Today we're discussing the Argentinosaurus, the largest dinosaur to have ever lived, standing at roughly 98-115 ft ( 30-35 meters ) tall, Weighing 80-100 tonnes ( 88-110 short tons ) and measuring 39.7 meters ( 130 ft ) long.  Argentinosaurus compared to a 1.8 ( 5.9 ft ) meter tall person Discovery The first fossils of the Argentinosaurus were found by a rancher in Argentina in the year 1987. the rancher originally mistook the fossil for a large piece of petrified wood.
